a hero in my mind is not like that,
a hero is is not determined by power or anything that you guys said above.
a hero is not named or called by other person.
a hero is a person who willing to give everything he/she had for the purpose that he/she thinks is right, n didn't ask for return.
maybe you can find a hero in you life.
it can be yourself, your brother/sister,
n i think a hero should be like our parent.....

I think based on situation and environment....
generally we need wise and powerful people to be an hero..
but sometimes the killer, murder or rapper gonna be an hero at their community..

in my opinion that hero means the people that have done something that no one can... the people that done something that nobody want to do... the people that do have benefit for human being... and the people do that no one in the world do for his/her family... that's hero...

Sometimes it's quite difficult for everyone to accept someone as a 'hero'.
For example the reporter(or someone) who threw his shoe at Bush, is considered a hero whilst other think he is a disgrace.
