i want fluently in conversation...

conversation should come after learning grammar ... otherwise, you'll speak "trash" english ...
then it should be followed by enriching vocabularies ... otherwise, you conversation won't last long ...

if you have done both ... it is very easy to find partners for discussion ...

because, speaking is related to writing...so, never feel ashame to use "trash" english...

You must watch western movies or english news on tv mostly than before. If U watching western film, avoid reading the (translation) texts.
Then try to repeat a sentence in the movie or news, as long as U remember.

if u want to talk fluent english first of all u need to know lot of vocab like "elang rimba" said....but if u really need help just pm me....i can help u....try to watch movies or read news or novel in english as well....it will help u to improve ur english in no time...

Tips to learn english :
+ read some books in english and read it loudly..
+ Try to sing a english song... (read the text/lyric if u needed)
+ watch an english movie (DO NOT USE an INDONESIAN SUBTITLE) --> this is important
+ chat with english to your friend
+ and, try to find a friend to share your english --> this tips i stole from u blue, heheheh....

Hi there...
I would suggest you to read any kind of article, and try to translate it on-the-fly.
Just like a real conversation, you will be forced to speak new stuff, new vocabs, new topics, etc etc and that will keep you away as well from unecessary paraphrasing.
You can use that trick if you want to save time and money joining conversation class.

THe most important goal is, you have to make your speaking counterpart understand what you are saying. I have learned that, once, I was bothering my grammar too much, thus I neglected to put more focus on my pronounciation and my intonation. That was totally a mess. Those foreign folks were starin at me knitting their eyebrows, everytime they speat with me. T.T

you have to converse it, literally.. i found it is easier if you try to speak English to somebody that's not an English-native speaker. Watching english movies, with English subtitles also helps. Still, nothing beats the actual conversation.

Hi I want to share some tips for you guys if you need to learn English..
FYI i graduated in California and now i work as an English lecturer in 2 universities in Jakarta..

Okay here we go..
first..you must have the will to learn (whatever the reason is)
It also better if u make some kind of your own dictionary ( i always tell my students to write down 5 new words then write the meaning of the word and also try to make a sentence using the word..
IMPORTANT!! Don't be shy (major problem for Indonesian is people always laugh at you whenever you made a mistake *yeah right lie they know what is the answer huh* that cause a lot of Indonesian become afraid and humiliated.. well actually no worries IT'S OKAY TO MAKE MISTAKES The most important thing for language is UNDERSTANDING..
Okay those are the most important things of learning any language.. if u have those quality i will galdly help you speak and do some conversation. Just PM me then I'll give u my number so then u can call ME..

Based on my experience,
Beside I took an english course, I improve my ability by talking by myself in front of the mirror..
It sounds crazy but it works anyway...
sometime I speak alone with a simple conversation i.e. introducing about myself...etc...etc...
It will be more effective if meet people from overseas and chit chat about everything...

if u feel uncomfortable to speak in english
u should try to read english book and pronounce it first
then u should try changing a lot of ur ordinary words into english
then u should try to speak n converse in english
i found that alot of people can speak n write in english if they have discipline in doing it

fluent in english is not a big problem. as long as you follow all the Bros' suggestions.
don't be afraid to make mistakes. don't be shy to ask the words that you don't understand the meaning.
we can learn from many ways, watching movies, reading books, english newspaper, gaming, and others. for the time being, right now i'm studying in Australia, unfortunately there are many friends of mine who not fluent in english (chinesse, vietnamese, arabs, etc) but they dare to continue their study here. perhaps our english right now is not in the "perfect way", but its still useful to communicate with others. no worries bro.. keep practicing.

if you want to speaking english verywell .... u can every day speaking english ... otherway u can forget . same like me ... .. i can talk more english but I can't do something like that ...becouse we are talking more use indonesia . sunda language ............................. very difficuld to do that .... than we can start talk english rightnow ............... i like that .. to talk n shared ..about this ...........

On the contrary, I want to ask you, guys. Is that true that we have to think in language or English when we talk, instead we think in Indonesia way?
A friend of mine has told me, that I have to do that, if I want learn English.
The problem is, how to change our opinion from Indonesian to English? Any suggestion?

I'm really agree with this opinion, may be you have a good environment which you can talking with english conversation to another people. So how we can practice in indonesia, Oh.. I want that's environment hope can practice more.

it is more easy to write a good english , but it is difficult when it comes to speaking. the brain just didn't connect, suddenly i just speak that what we called Singapore english LOL
