all BF-ers ... please share your experience in visiting foreign country.
Do you find any difficulties in immigration ? Do you have any place that's cheap to stay ? Do you have any favorite restourant ?
My experience was in Singapore.
There are a lot of cheap homestay. You can find it directly through the information board or Lonely planet sites. This sites is fascinating. The homestay rate is about 30 Sing Dollar for a room with Fan, and 40 with a air cond room.
If you want to find a cheap but delicious food stall, just visit Bugis Junction then go directly accros the street .... there are a lot of food stall that serve a delicious meal for onely 1,5-2 Sing Dollar. In this december ... you can find also a sweet and good Durian in that street.
No difficulties in immigration.

from Germany to France (Paris) the cheapest way by using RB (takes some times but quite ok). because you'll pass Luxembourg. but dont forget to check the departure time very carefully. it is cost 45 eur. from Germany to Paris (include Luxembourg) very..very..cheap...

hmmm... foreign country... I'm a student in singapore. Studied there for about 5 years, a few tips for those who are going to visit singapore...
1. Try not to go to orchard road on weekends or public holidays. You wont enjoy it coz of the crowds there.
2. Try not to get around by taxi. Use public transport such as buss, MRT or LRT. (Soalnya di indo ga ada hehehe sama lebi asik buat liat2 pake transport gituan)
3. Try to visit the latest mall in there ViVo City @ harbourfront mrt station

Do you which part of Germany will you stay? It's depense where you stay. In Germany you have to check all things and you'll find any cheap things. But you have to know you neet for lunch from €5 up. And for asian taste isn't easy to find the right thing.

Well germany is not too expensive as u thought bro..just eat kebab and coke it's only cost you not more than 5 Euro and if you wanna stay for some times try to find studentenwohnheim (usually you can ask with indonesian sudent or indonesian people there). it is student house but usually it is for rent when the student is going back to his home town or conduct some research and its only cost you 150-200 eur/month. if you insist to stay in hotel no sugestion ma-bro...

Japan...a beautiful country, a nine days full of journey, still stay deep in my heart when I stuck among the crowd of 'Akiba' or famously known as 'Akihabara' in Tokyo, experiencing by ma'own eyes, how sexy the gals inside the 'kosupure' or spelled 'cosplay' in English, how cheap the digital cameras & the equipments (except data storage like SD-card, Indonesia still the cheapest, hehehe...
Another 'district' or something named with the last (-"ken"), like Aichi-ken (read : keng in Bahasa), Toyoda (toyota) city is also remains still on my thoughts about Japan, how can we find an industrial area still surrounded by rice fields? synergy in Toyota princip itself? hehe...maybe Indonesia should look at what the Japanesse do nowadays...
It's a pity that it is almost impossible to experience snow fall on Tokyo...
& Hokkaido still the 'frozen' part each year...

It's surely a wonderful island, the view... the flowers... the ancient temple... the handmade samurai master (what's so called "Empu" in Java) ... the tea ceremony, etc.... Those are so so amazing...
I've been there 13 years ago, and I still be able to feel the hospitality of my friends in Hiroshima...
If you got the chance to visit Hiroshima, someday, please pay attention to make a visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park... a tribute to all of the victims of the "Slim Boy" - the Atom Bomb that turn Hiroshimo into ruins and ended Thw WW II. It's also a warning to all of the mankind not to make another "Hiroshima" ever -happened- again...

Singapore.... my girlfriend is going to graduate from Nurse Academy this year, and she got an offer to work there.
Anyway,
The outback / down under / OZ / Australia, been there when I was 8. From Cairn to Brisband (or was it the other way around, anyway I spent most of my time in Queensland). I got sick during that time, and vaguely remember meeting an aussies girl at my age and we say hi to eachothers.
At 10, I've visited Singapore via Batam. Probably the cleanest place I've ever seen in my whole life *cough* unlike Jakarta *cough*. Planning to go there in near future and visit my girlfriend if she works there.
8 years ago when I was in second grade of senior highschool. I joined EF Homestay programme. Stayed 2 weeks in Oxford, England. I swear, everything in England are bloody expensive. Mineral water from Scotland cost around 10 poundsterling. A piece of banana I saw in a station, cost 2 poundsterling. For one measly piece of banana! My pocket money quickly depleted. If it weren't for the sympathy from my fellow travelers, I would've starved in my last day in England. The next full week I spend time in Paris, Brussel and Amsterdam.
Heh, Paris... that city has dirty alley as dirty as in Indonesia. Really! Not to mention those Nigerian sellers who try to sell cheap bracelets and souvenir near Eiffel tower and Notre'damme.
Currently I'm in Netherlands for 3 years now. I study here maatje! Been to Germany twice. Once was new year party at my aunt's place, and the last one was at Koln. they got this huge Cathedral there near the central station. Unfortunately, there was homo festival going on there at that time. You couldn't imagine the horror seeing beardy and bald men wearing tight black leather cloths and have hole, leaving their anus exposed! At a concert they hug eachother just like normal couple do. If that ain't nothing, try seeing a guy wearing bunny uniform. Think of playboy model in bunny uniform but instead, you get a guy in it....
