Are we still in a global economic crisis ?
we all know that last year we were in a global economic crisis, because of sub prime mortage crisis in America.. many bank and financial services were fell on last year.. not just in America, but almost the world stil feel this impact on their economy for now...
But today, as we can see that our economy are rally to raise again.. commodity prices also back to normal (but not yet), it's indicate that oil prices is above 70$ per barrel, (as we know that on a crises, oil prices was under 40$ per barrel --> source bloomberg.com).. our economy, especially Indonesia will increasing above 4 % (stateted from Sri Mulyani on June --> if i'm not mistaken, hehe...)
so, Are we still in a crisis ? or we've just passed it ? or almost get out from the crisis... what's your opinion ?

If Indonesia have passed these economic crisis, then Indonesia is very supreme. as we know that nowadays USA, a state which has prosperity and wealthy level far away above the Indonesia is still struggling to overcome the economic crisis ever after since general motor collapse, so I'm wondering about Sri Mulyani statement and I'm consider such statement as big big big bullshit

ahhahaha... but she is our financial minister now.. i think she has optimism about our indonesian economic right now and in the future... not just a silly statement.. as we know nowdays, there are only 3 countries that have a positve economic growth, there are Indonesia, India, and China.. hohohoho... I think we have proud of it.. shouldn't we ?

I totally agree that as a Financial Minister, she must have an optimism about the Indonesia Economic condition, but she forgot after JW Marriot and Ritz Charlton Bombings the Indonesian Economic Growth will be derived to minus point, In my opinion it is better for her to pass a statement about how to overcome these situation rather than bragging about Indonesia Economic Condition

well, after Jakarta's bomb (JW Marriot & Ritz C.) Our minister says that i will recover in 3 days.. and see.. we know that, in 3 days, our economic was really recovered, just like our minister said. (it indicates from our stocks exchange that was fell down in friday, the day that boombing happen, and it rebound back to normal in monday).. that's magic huh ? i think our citizen is not so worried about the boombing anymore.. (maybe there was too many boombing tragedy happen in Indonesia, heheheh...)
so, I still have an optimism in our government, that we will have a strong economic in the future.. yeah, we are not dreaming bro.. we can do it.. we're just on the track to reach that... gut lak..

do agree with seyz....i think that our economy is becoming better and better...as for passing the crisis i'm not really sure...but one thing for sure that our economic growth will be in positive line...

because commodity price is start to be normal again.....like what ts state and i believe with increasing in commodity price, it will help our economy a lot. Once palm oil, coal, copper and other natural resources price become normal again, people (who work in this field) will get more money and start to shop and spend their money and in the end it will stimulate our economy again....that's my opinion....

I think we are coming out of it now. It looks like the American housing market has bottomed out and the markets are stabilizing over there. It didn't seem like Indonesia got hit that hard by the crisis anyway. Our main exports which are oil/natural products and some metals or mining goods and I don't think these markets shrunk at all.
Normally in recessionary situations the first markets that would be affected are the luxury goods markets, such as jewelry, cars, designer fashion products, etc.. I don't think we are exporting too many of these products to make such an impact in the short run.
