Sacred Underworld ( ISO)






Sacred was one of the better action role-playing games to come down the pike in recent years. Released in March 2004, Sacred delivered solid, Diablo-inspired gameplay along with a few innovations thrown into the mix. Approximately 18 months later, we now have Sacred Underworld, the expansion to Sacred. As expected, Underworld delivers some high-level gameplay for Sacred fans as well as a few tweaks, though everything that we liked and didn't like about the original game remains pretty much the same.


Get ready to hack your way through a whole lot of monsters.

Picking up immediately where Sacred left off, Underworld introduces a new threat, as well as new environments to explore. Basically, Prince Valor was killed in the Pyrrhic victory of Sacred. At the beginning of Underworld, his widow, Vilya, is kidnapped by a monstrous demon. Before you know it, you're off once again to plow through a ridiculous number of monsters, pick up mountains of gold, and collect a bewildering amount of equipment, all in the name of slaying the latest evildoer.

Since Underworld was designed for high-level characters, you can import your existing Sacred character (so long as he or she is at least level 25), or you can select one of the two new characters introduced in the expansion, the daemon and the dwarf. As with the characters from the core game, the new characters have predetermined genders (the daemon is female, the dwarf is male), but they also start at a very high level, allowing newcomers to jump into the fray immediately without having to build up a new character from scratch. Don't worry, though--you'll still have plenty of opportunity to customize your character, thanks to the wide range of equipment and skills that you can select from in the expansion.

One of the nice features of Sacred is the fact that it's set in a predefined world, unlike the randomly generated levels of Diablo. There's a real feeling that you're exploring a coherent world, though you'll be far too busy slaying monsters to admire the scenery. As with Sacred, everywhere you traverse in Underworld outside of a town is crawling with monsters, ranging from large worms and gigantic mutated antlike creatures to insect-like demons and more. And then there are the humanoid opponents, clad in arms and armor, though it makes no difference, because virtually every type of enemy is able to drop various types of loot. Before you know it, you'll pack around hundreds of thousands of gold pieces, as well as a several pack mules' worth of gear.

In a way, Underworld almost goes out of control in terms of scale, though if you like gathering stuff, then this is your game. Since you start the expansion at level 25 or higher, it doesn't make sense for the loot or experience to start small. So, before you know it, you're dishing out hundreds of hit points of damage for every hit, and amassing hundreds, if not thousands, of experience points for every minor kill, though you'll certainly need them, since it takes a mountain of experience to level up. And virtually every item in the expansion packs a slew of modifiers that can affect any of your character's abilities, meaning that you can spend a lot of time analyzing which combination of items to go with. Items can be upgraded or enchanted through the use of sockets, or by finding the nearest village smith and getting him to improve an existing piece of equipment.


There are some big enemies in Underworld, but don't worry--your high-level character is a lot tougher than he or she looks.

Alas, the combat system is still a bit finicky in Underworld, particularly when you're trying to engage a flying unit. Basically, it's hard to line up an attack properly, and it's easy to lose track of what's going on in a fight. A bigger issue is that you still can't walk 10 steps without getting caught up in yet another melee with a half-dozen opponents. This makes getting anywhere in Sacred almost like a chore rather than an adventure, and you'll get to the point where you will simply want to bypass most opponents. You can purchase and ride horses to get around the world, though it's still not much faster than walking, and you have to dismount every single time to pick up an item. And judging by the rate at which monsters drop loot, it's probably more efficient simply to pass on the mount altogether.

Graphically, Underworld does introduce a few new interface tweaks, but it's still got the pretty 2D graphics engine that blends in 3D lighting effects. The game still runs at a fixed resolution, and you can still zoom in to get a close-up view of the action or zoom out for a big-picture view of the world. Meanwhile, the animations and creatures remain strong. The multiplayer is pretty much the same, though it does feature some tougher dragons to make team play much more important. When you get down to it, if you enjoyed Sacred, then you'll no doubt enjoy Underworld; it pretty much offers more of the same, but at a ramped-up level.

The beginning in what was to become one of the greatest adventure games in the computer industry. Kings Quest 1: Quest For The Crown was first released in 1984 and commissioned by IBM as a showpiece for their PCjr, and was the first game to support EGA color cards. Story line: The King of Daventry is nearing the end of his life. Tragically, he has no heir to carry on the royal line, and he worries that his kingdom will be left without a leader. Daventry is already a shadow of its former glory, as the three treasures of the realm have been lost to the ages. And so the king summons his bravest knight, Sir Graham, and sets him on the quest - return all three of the lost treasures, and the throne will be his. King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride was released in 1994 which was only available in CD format not only set new standards for game graphics, but also rivaled or surpassed the animation available on TV or film. In King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride Rosella of Daventry is reaching marriageable age, and her mother Valanice hopes to find a suitable match for her daughter. Unfortunately Rosella has no interest, either in the men her mother has chosen, or in marriage itself! As the two of them walk in the woods, discussing this very subject, Rosella sees a small dragon spite leap from a pond, leaving behind it and image of a fantastic castle floating in the clouds. Intrigued, and feeling mischievous, Rosella dives into the pond and disappears. Valanice leaps in after her, and the two find themselves drawn into a vortex of magical energy, and separated. Now each woman must pursue her own quest - Rosella to save the Volcanix Underground from the evil witch Malicia, and Valanice to find her daughter. Before they can be reunited, each must cross the land of Eldritch, face the dangers of Ooga Booga, delve into the world of spirits and legends, and finally confront Malicia in the heart of an active volcano!

Temple of Elemental Evil PC ISO



The Temple of Elemental Evil is a single-player-only adventure with a straightforward premise that's mostly an excuse to put you through a lengthy, diverse dungeon crawl. This isn't an epic-scale adventure--most of the game takes place in the titular temple (though, at the beginning, you explore the countryside until you find it), though the temple is a sufficiently huge, multistory affair. Initially, you create a party of up to five characters (or you may choose from pregenerated characters), who begin as neophyte first-level adventurers and can eventually grow to 10th level, which isn't as high up there as some other recent D&D games have allowed you to get. Make no mistake, this is no flaw--Dungeons & Dragons is probably most well balanced, tense, and exciting at the earlier levels, so this game's focus on relatively low-level adventuring leads to many nail-biting battles in which you must take great care to keep your party out of harm's way as best you can. Indeed, starting out, your party is vulnerable even to common thugs, though later on, you'll start to feel quite powerful as your fighters gain multiple attacks per round, your healers become much more useful, and your mages learn to cast damaging area-of-effect spells.

One interesting aspect of The Temple of Elemental Evil is that the characters you can place in your party must be of similar moral alignment. In fact, you must choose a moral alignment for your party, which governs who can and can't be a part of it. For instance, a chaotic evil character wouldn't have any business being in a lawful good party, though a neutral good or lawful neutral character would be welcome. This choice affects the brief introductory sequence for your party (there are nine different variants, in total) as well as the conclusion of the game. Other than that, alignment doesn't play a huge role over the course of the game, as there isn't much in the way of dialogue with non-player characters--not compared to other D&D RPGs from over the past few years, anyway. Good, neutral, and evil characters alike will still find themselves fighting for their lives against the countless vicious foes defending the temple from any interlopers.

Enclave takes place in a world literally torn-apart by magic. A millennia ago, the dark armies of Vatar had battled the people of Celenheim to the brink of destruction. During the final, desperate battle, a lone figure, clad in a wizard's robe, appeared high atop a ridge, staff held upraised in both hands. Defiantly, he slammed the staff hard into the ground, unleashing the terrible fury of nature itself. In that single night, the world erupted. The skies grew black, and the earth turned red with fire, chaos, and blood. The Rift raced forward, tearing the ground apart, and destroying everything in its horrifying path. In the aftermath, the demon Vatar and the mysterious wizard had disappeared, and were both assumed dead.

Light had separated from dark, and the world had been been split in twain. The new "island" of Celenheim was protected on all sides by an abyssal rift, and its people safe from the dark twisted forms now struggling for survival on the other side. To the people of Celenheim, these creatures became known as the Outlanders.

The inhabitants of the Enclave, as it came to be called, grew strong and prosperous over the centuries, nearly forgetting the bitter hatred harboured for them from those confined to the war-ravaged plains of the Outland. But now, after hundreds of years, the Rift has begun to seal, even becoming crossable in places. The very earth is healing beneath their feet. It's only a matter of time before another full-scale war erupts, threatening the very existence of Celenheim.

In my opinion, this one the best action games I have ever played so I wanted to share it with you. Goblins, Orcs, archers, assassins, knights, mages, sorcerers, dragons, two different campaigns(light & dark), it has EVERYTHING!!! Don't get dissapointed by the graphics(bad resolution of screenshots). In full settings, they are perfect and crystal clear.

Eragon [PC-RIP]






Eragon is a third-person video game released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and micr*soft Windows, developed by Stormfront Studios. Also released are unique versions of Eragon for the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, and mobile phone handheld gaming systems, primarily developed by Amaze Entertainment.

The game is based upon the recent Eragon film, which is in turn based on the book Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. The games were released on November 14th 2006 in the United States of America, on November 24th 2006 in the European Union and on November 23rd 2006 in Australia in order to coincide with the release of the aforementioned film. In the game the player takes on the role of the main protagonist from the book and film, Eragon, and occasionally takes control of his dragon Saphira.
