Itu Karena Lini Belakang Kurang Terkordinir Oleh Puyol Dkk dan secara fisik bek barcelona tidak ada yg tingginya lebih dari 185 cm (Puyol 178 cm, milito 175 cm, Marguez 180 cm) apalagi Puyol Juga sering Absen Karena Cedera. menurut gw barca tahun ini dengan barca waktu juara champion sudah merupakan 2 tim yang sangat berbeda.

Waktu mereka juara champion inti serangan barca bertumpu pada trio Ronaldinho, Deco n Giuly. sekarang Giuly sudah tidak ada, Ronaldinho dan Deco tahun ini lebih banyak di bangku cadangan. Rijkaard terlalu mengandalkan pemain muda seperti Messi, Iniesta dan Bojan. secara individual mereka memang bagus dan secara skill mereka setingkat atau mungkin lebih dari pada senior mereka itu, tapi dari segi pengalaman, mental dan keampuan bermain di bawah tekanan, mereka masih belum mumpuni untuk bermain dalam starting eleven secara reguler.

Sebuah klub pasti ada pasang surut. Bohong tuh kalo ada klub yg jadi juara terus, kecuali klub lain gak ada yang beres. Ambil contoh Olympique Lyon yang jd juara berturut-turut di Liga Prancis. Tapi pas ke Liga Champions, mereka malah loyo.

Rijkaard banyak pakai pemain muda, jg gak bisa disalahkan. Liat aja Arsenal dua tahun lalu yg gagal dengan young guns. Tapi sekarang? Cuma keberuntungan yg bikin mereka gagal di LC dan Premiership.

Kalau gue jadi Pep Guardiola, Ronaldinho mending dijual saja, kalau memang cedera terus. David Silva di Valencia jg bagus tuh sebagai pengganti. Atau kalau mau rugi dikit, tukar tambah aja Ronaldinho+Deco dengan Cristiano Ronaldo.

Untuk striker, Samuel Eto'o perlu tandem yang punya heading bagus. Dimitar Berbatov bisa jadi pilihan tuh. Trus jgn lagi pake format 4-3-3, krn lini pertahanan rawan serangan balik. Satu kelemahan Barca musim lalu adalah sering gagal mengantisipasi serangan balik. Yaya Toure sering bekerja sendirian sebagai gelandang bertahan.

Pake saja format dua gelandang bertahan atau satu gelandang gantung. Xavi Hernandez juga bagus berperan sebagai gelandang gantung. Rafael Marquez jg bisa jadi pilihan. Kalau masih kurang, beli saja Alberto Aquilani dari AS Roma atau Daniele de Rossi.

HISTORY OF FC BARCELONA

On November 29, 1899, Hans Gamper founded Futbol Club Barcelona, along with eleven other enthusiasts of 'foot-ball', a game that was still largely unknown in this part of the world.

He could never have imagined the magnitude of what that initiative would eventually develop into. Over more than one hundred years of history, FC Barcelona has grown spectacularly in every area and has progressed into something much greater than a mere sports club, turning Barça’s ‘more than a club’ slogan into a reality.

Barça has become, for millions of people all around the world, a symbol of their identity, and not just in a sporting sense, but also in terms of society, politics and culture. Throughout the most difficult of times, Barça was the standard that represented Catalonia and the Catalan people's desire for freedom, a symbolism that has continued to be closely linked to the idiosyncrasy of the Club and its members to this day. Within the context of Spain, Barça is seen as an open and democratic club. And all around the world, Barça is identified with caring causes, and most especially children through its sponsorship agreement with Unicef.

For a whole century, FC Barcelona has passed through moments of glory and pain, periods of brilliance and other less successful ones, epic victories and humbling defeats. But all these different moments have helped define the personality of a Club that, due to its peculiar nature, is considered unique in the world.

With over one hundred years of history, there have naturally been many different periods, both in a social and a sporting sense. In the early years (1899-1922) , from the foundation of the club to the construction of Les Corts stadium, Barça was a club that had to distinguish itself from all the other football teams in Barcelona, to the point that it would come to be identified with the city as a whole. Barça soon became the leading club in Catalonia, and also associated itself with the increasingly growing sense of Catalan national identity.

From Les Corts to the Camp Nou (1922-1957), the club went through contrasting periods. Its membership reached 10,000 for the first time, while football developed into a mass phenomenon and turned professional, and these were the years of such legendary figures as Alcántara and Samitier. But due to material difficulties and the political troubles of the Spanish Civil War and post-war period, the club was forced to overcome several adverse circumstances, including the assassination of president Josep Sunyol in 1936, the very person who had propagated the slogan ‘sport and citizenship'. But the club survived, and a period of social and sporting recovery materialised in the form of the Camp Nou, coinciding with the arrival of the hugely influential Ladislau Kubala.

From the construction of the Camp Nou to the 75th anniversary (1957-1974) , Barça suffered mediocre results but was consolidated as an entity, with a constantly increasing membership and the slow but steady recovery, in the face of adversity, of its identity. A very clear sensation that was manifested for the first time ever in the words ‘Barça, more than a club’ proclaimed by president Narcís de Carreras. The board presided by Agustí Montal brought a player to Barcelona who would change the history of the club, Johan Cruyff.

From the 7th anniversary to the European Cup (1974-1992) the club saw the conversion of football clubs to democracy, the start of Josep Lluís Núñez’s long presidency, the extension of the Camp Nou on occasion of the 1982 World Cup and the Cup Winners Cup triumph in Basle (1979), a major success not just in a sporting sense but also in a social one, with an enormous and exemplary expedition of Barça supporters demonstrating to Europe the unity of the Barcelona and Catalan flags. Cruyff returned, this time as coach, and created what would come to be known as the 'Dream Team' (1990-1994), whose crowning glory was the conquest of the European Cup at Wembley (1992), thanks to Koeman’s famous goal.

From Wembley to Paris (1992-2006) was when the club’s most recent developments occurred in between its two greatest achievements, becoming champions of Europe. Josep Lluís Núñez’s long presidency came to and end, and the club displayed its finest potential during the celebrations of the club Centenary. Following on from Joan Gaspart (2000-2003), the June 2003 election brought Joan Laporta into office, and the start of new social expansion, reaching 150,000 members, and more successes on the pitch, including two league titles and the Champions League won in Paris.

The grandeur of Futbol Club Barcelona is explained, among many other factors, by its impressive honours list. Very few clubs anywhere in the world have won so many titles. The Intercontinental Cup is the only major football trophy that has never made its way into the club museum, where the club's greatest pride and joy remain the two European Cups won at Wembley (1992) and in Paris (2006).

These were Barça's finest hours on the continental stage, but the Club also has the honour of being the only one to have appeared in every single edition of European club competition since the tournaments were first created back in 1955. Barcelona's many achievements in Europe include being considered 'King of the Cup Winners Cup', having won that title a record four times.

In addition, FC Barcelona also won three Fairs Cups (the tournament now known as the UEFA Cup) in 1958, 1960 and 1966. In 1971, Barça won that trophy outright in a match played between themselves, as the first ever winners of the competition, and Leeds United, as the last. But Barça not only rules in Europe, but also in Spanish competitions, specifically in the national cup, the Copa del Rey, which they have won 24 times, more than any other club.

The Spanish League has traditionally been one of the competitions Barcelona has found the hardest to win, but especially thanks to some wonderful seasons in the 1990s, a decade when six championships were won, and two more championships in the last two years, Fútbol Club Barcelona has now won 18 Spanish League titles.

FC Barcelona have thrashed Atlético Madrid on a magnificent evening at the Camp Nou. Márquez, Eto’o (2), Messi, Gudjohnsen and Henry scored for a Barça side that was 3-0 up after just eight minutes and played a near perfect first half.

Like the 5-3 win in 1993/94 when Romario scored a hat-trick, like the 4-3 win in 1994/95 when now manager Josep Guardiola scored one of the goals, and like the 5-4 win in the Copa del Rey of 1996/97 when Barça came back from 3-0 down at half time, tonight’s Barça v Atlético was another historic night that will be remembered for years to come. Especially in the first half, Barça displayed all their talent, created danger from all angles and scored no fewer than five times.

Goal came after goal. Márquez, Eto’o Messi, Eto’o again and Gudjohnsen scored in the first half to send the Camp Nou into a frenzy, while Henry rounded off a marvellous night by making it 6-1 in the second half, equating to the sixth consecutive win for Barcelona.

8 minutes: 3-0

What we witnessed in the first eight minutes at the Camp Nou will go down in the record books. Márquez opened the scoring as he nodded home the first corner of the night (min 3), Eto’o added the second from the penalty spot and just a minute later Messi was the brightest spark on the pitch as he cunningly struck home a free kick before the defensive wall had had time to get ready (min 8).

Only five minutes later, Maxi Rodríguez pulled one back for the visitors with a well-placed strike from the edge of the area, but it was to be a bad night for the goalscorer otherwise. Apart from the result, he was also forced to withdraw injured after 20 minutes.

27th minute: 5-1

By that time, Barça had scored yet another. A crazy night saw the score move up to 4-1, with the inspired home side getting absolutely everything right. The fourth goal came from Eto’ o, who dribbled coolly around the keeper and a defender at the same time and stroked the ball home into an empty net. That was still only the 17th minute and there was still a fifth to come in the half, when Iniesta joined the party with a solo run and a strike that hit the Atlético post. But Gudjohnsen was on hand to bang home the rebound.

More chances

The game had lost all shape and Barça pounded shot upon shot on Atlético’s goal. Iniesta could easily have scored, but once again was denied by the woodwork. And in the very next move, Messi found himself in a one on one with the keeper that only went wide by the smallest of margins, yet it had been sublime piece of skill that the ecstatic crowd celebrated almost as if it had gone in.

Atlético at sea as Barça seek more

After the break, Atlético clearly had to do something to change things. Aguirre had new plans and decided to take off Agüero (min 57), a decision that didn’t go down too well with the crowed. It almost looked like Atlético were seeking to avoid further humiliation, but Barça pressed on regardless in search of more, with Eto’ o, Puyol and Gudjohnsen all coming close. It was a bizarre game, for the result had never really been in doubt since the eighth minute, and Guardiola opted to send on Bojan and Henry, thus resting Messi and Eto’o.

73rd minute: 6-1

And it was Frenchmen who added the final piece of drama to an unforgettable night, with the crowd relentlessly applauding their heroes. A tricky combination move involving Xavi, Bojan and Henry in the 73rd minute was concluded with a powerful drive from Henry that thundered into the back of the net to make it 6-1. Bojan had a chance to make it seven before the ninety minutes were up in a game in which we saw the very, very best of what this amazing FC Barcelona team is capable of doing, and which equates to Barça’s sixth win in a row.

Pep Guardiola merasakan kebahagian atas performa anak buahnya setelah berhasil menundukkan Ateltico Madrid. Dan, ia juga menjelaskan alasan penggantian beberapa pemain dalam pertandingan itu.

Pelatih The Blaugrana Pep Guardiola meyakini, kemenangan fantastis 6-1 atas Los Colchoneros adalah performa terbaik timnya semenjak ia mengambil alih kursi kepelatihan.

Kunci sukses dalam pertandingan tersebut, menurut Guardiola adalah kesabaran dalam membangun sebuah kesempatan mencetak gol. Selain itu, semangat kedua tim juga banyak membantu terbentuknya permainan yang indah untuk ditonton.

Dalam pertandingan tersebut, Samuel Eto'o mencetak dua gol sebelum posisinya digantikan oleh Thierry Henry. Hal tersebut membuatnya sedikit emosi lantaran kesempatan mencetak hat-trick menjadi hilang.

"Ia (Eto'o) ingin terus bermain, dan saya menentukan kapan ia berhenti. Kemarahannya tidak mengganggu saya. Para pemain punya karakter yang keras, dan saya bisa memahami reaksinya," lanjut Guardiola.

Pemain yang tidak begitu mempedulikan pergantian dirinya adalah Xavi yang tidak bermain hingga peluit panjang berbunyi. Alasan pergantiannya adalah karena Guardiola ingin para penonton memberikan penghormatan kepadanya.

“Xavi berhak mendapatkan hal tersebut (aplaus) karena ia jarang beristirahat (untuk digantikan)."

Xavi wins Marca award

Xavi Hernàndez has won the award presented by Spanish sports daily ‘Marca' as Best Player at Euro 2008. He was also named best player by UEFA at the end of the tournament.

Xavi Hernàndez’s performance at Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland this summer has been recognised by ‘Marca'. This Monday the sports daily named him player of the tournament at Euro 2008 after his contribution to making Spain into European champions for the first time.

Another award

This isn’t the first award for Xavi Hernàndez after winning the European Championship, as the midfielder was also named best player by UEFA and included in the best XI.

Other prizes

The prize-giving ceremony, which was held in Madrid, also featured awards for goalkeeper Íker Casillas for fewest goals conceded and Dani Güiza as top goalscorer last season. Manuel Pellegrini picked up the award for best coach.

‘Marca' also presented awards to other Spain players such as David Villa as top goalscorer at Euro 2008, and Casillas once again for fewest goals conceded at the Championship.

Xavier Hernandez Creus

Xavi has spent all his footballing life at the Nou Camp, having joined Barcelona when he was only 11 years old. The progress he made was always very quick and in season 97-98 he moved up from youth team to Barca B.

In Barça B, he became the brains of Jordi Gonzalvo's team which won promotion to the second division.

Xavi's dream of making his official debut with the first team squad became true when he played in the Spanish Super Cup against Majorca in the summer of 1998. He was in the starting line up and scored: a better debut he could not have asked for. Xavi also played an important role in the league-winning season of 1998-99 with Van Gaal as manager, most notably with an important goal in the Nuevo Zorrilla, which turned round the team's fortunes.

Season 1999-2000 was a good one for Xavi as due to the injury to Guardiola he was the first choice number 4 for a large part of the season. After the legendry captain left for Italian football he became the playmaker of the team and has continued to demonstrate the full range of his talents in this position.

With Van Gaal, Reixach, Antic and Rijkaard in charge of the team, Xavi has always been a key member of the team - a fact made clear by the 300 official games he completed whilst still only 25 years old.

With Rijkaard, Xavi has shown that he can not only play at the heart of midfield, but is also more than able to cover any position in the center of the team, an ability reflected in the fact that he was the most used player in the League winning 2004-05 season, playing 36 games in all.

Xavi will never forget 2 December 2005. While training at La Masía, the midfielder tore the ligaments in his left knee. His recovery was swifter than expected and within five months he was playing again. On 29 April 2006 against Cadiz, Xavi once again “felt like a footballer ". He was back in time to celebrate the League and Champions League titles with his team-mates.

In the last two seasons with Frank Rijkaard in the dugout, Xavi was one of the players most used by the Dutch manager. Plus in the 2007-08 season he set a personal best of 7 League goals, almost doubling his previous highest of four in the 2001-02 and 2003-04 seasons.

In addition Xavi Hernández has also been a fixture in Spain’s national side. He played in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups and in the 2004 and 2006 European Championships, and in the latter was chosen as best player as Spain picked up the title.

CHARACTERISTICS

Xavi is the playmaker of the team in every game and shows no nerves whatsoever as he guides the team with an extraordinarily cool head. Since taking on the mantle of playmaker at Barca he has shown incredible vision on the pitch. He is another example of the good work being carried out in the youth teams of Barcelona, especially in the position referred to as number 4 and as he has matured he has shown an increasing ability to adapt himself to different positions in the midfield when his manager has called on him.

His passing to the forwards and his ability to take the pressure off and protect the ball better than almost any other player around, have turned him into one of the focal points on the pitch. He also stands out for his defensive capabilities and his capacity as a ball winner.

In addition he has shown himself more than able at dead ball situations, where his potent shot has brought a number of important goals.

Xavi will always remember December 2, 2005. During training in front of La Masia,the Terrassa-born midfielder suffered a bad injury to his left knee as he ruptured his ligaments. Within five months he was back in action. On April 29, 2006 he returned to play against Cádiz and stated "I feel like a football player again". He was able to celebrate winning the title and the Champions League with the rest of the squad.

The Barça playmaker was a regular in Luis Aragonés' Spain team during the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where the team progressed to the second round before being beaten by France.

tapi sebenernya xavi ga terlalu terkenal kayak casillas atau raul di madrid.. di barca, karena ada banyak pemain bintang, nama xavi seperti hilang begitu aja. orang kalo ngomong barca biasanya, ngomongnya ya kalo ga puyol, eto'o, ato ga messi kalo sekarang... xavi?? siapa tuh? padahal boleh dibilang dia sama puyol sama2 dari akademi barca (yah, puyol lebih barca sih, secara dia emang dari lahir juga udah di barcelona.. )

Barcelona - Yaya Toure mengaku gerah terus berada di bangku cadangan musim ini. Ancaman hengkang pun diutarakannya bila kondisi ini tidak berubah dalam waktu dekat.

Lini tengah Barca memang sedikit mengalami perubahan sejak Josep 'Pep' Guardiola mengambil alih kursi kepelatihan yang dulunya menjadi milik Frank Rijkaard.

Salah satu yang paling mencolok adalah tidak dimainkannya lagi Toure secara reguler. Posnya kini menjadi milik Seydou Keita, pemain yang didatangkan Barca dari Sevilla di awal musim ini.

Sejauh ini, baru dua kali Toure mengisi line up utama Barca. Kondisi ini diakui pemain asal Pantai Gading itu tidak sesuai dengan harapannya, yang pada akhirnya berujung pada ancaman untuk hengkang.

"Yaya ingin bertahan, ia senang menjadi pemain Barcelona. Tapi bila ia tidak diturunkan lebih banyak, sepertinya kami harus berbicara dengan tim lain," ujar Dimitri Seluk seperti dilansir Goal.com.

"Saat ini usianya memasuki 25 tahun dan ia tidak bisa terus duduk di bangku cadangan melihat yang lain bermain," tambah agen Yaya Toure itu.

Yaya Toure, tambah Seluk, diyakini tidak akan kesulitan menemukan tim lain. Pasalnya beberapa klub sudah menyatakan minat mereka untuk memanfaatkan tenaga pemain yang memiliki kontrak bersama Barca hingga 2011 itu.

"Ada beberapa klub yang sudah menyatakan minatnya, seperti Juventus dan beberapa klub asal Inggris lain," tandasnya.
